About

I'm Margot and I've been teaching languages (English & French) with a passion since 1995. I am French and I live in Rennes, Brittany, France. I have lived in different regions of France - Paris, Montpellier and Pordic. I've spent a lot of time in the UK since I was 16, mainly in England but also in Wales and Jersey.

I'm the author of a bilingual children's book, The Forest Trap / Le Piège dans la Forêt, published by Lessons & Books4Kids and available as an e-book and paperback.

Lessons4Kids was awarded Best International Language Club for Kids 2023, in the Private Education Award category, by the prestigious Lux Life Magazine.

I am a content creator for a French publisher of bilingual picture books Editions Blue Dot. My goal is also to help my foreign students discover France and its regions, heritage, cuisine, and more. Additionally, I assist my French students in exploring English-speaking countries and enable them to travel through my collaboration with TrustedHouseSitters. • at the University of Rennes 1 - IUT students (Technological University Institute)

• in my language club - Le Mini Club Anglais (from 2012 to 2020)

Today, I teach English & French online and create teaching resources for families, teachers, schools and English & French clubs. I also offer teacher training and French courses for adults.

Training

After graduating with a baccalaureate (A-Levels) in literature and art, I went on to study English at the Institut Anglophone Charles V, Paris 7 University, where I graduated with a Licence LLCE in English - majoring in Contrastive Linguistics and Translation - in 2001. Since then, I've done nothing but practice my profession: teaching English & French with passion.

Our family

Johann, my husband, studied at Brighton Polytechnic in England. He then worked mainly as a trainer and web developer (he developed our two websites: Lessons4kids.net and French-lessons4kids.net

We are a couple fascinated by English and foreign languages in general, books, children and teaching.

Our whole family is passionate about nature, music, reading, astronomy, art, sewing, discovering the world and so on.

Our eldest daughter illustrates all the Lessons4Kids English & French lessons and flashcards. She's also an amateur photographer and author of a series of novels, Enquêtes à Paris, available on Amazon. 

Our youngest daughter loves drawing too, and studies fashion design & dressmaking.
